A master plan for Wales Street
Shaping the future of our school
Wales Street is one of the largest schools servicing Thornbury and Northcote (and surrounds). Enrolments are now consistently above 600, and are expected to grow in the coming years. And while the school’s buildings, facilities and grounds have served us well over the years, extensive works are now required if our infrastructure is to continue to support our students today and over the coming decades.
Recently, we engaged architectural firm, Taylor Oppenheim Architects, to begin work on a master plan for Wales Street. A master plan is essentially a blueprint for how the school – its buildings and its open spaces – will look and develop over the coming years. We’re inviting everyone to take a look at what we’ve done so far, and have your say.
Please tell us what you think
We’ve attached three draft plans here for you to consider. They’re also available at the Office if you’d like to see some paper copies. These are not final plans – they’re just ‘thought starters’ at this stage.
Please email us your thoughts at email@example.com Your feedback will help to inform the development of a final plan early next year – so make sure you have your say!
